PRN 48271
During trial trenching on land off Old Main Road, Scamblesby, a ditch or pit was found in Trench Three which contained charred cereal grain. Due to the ditch's similar contextual layers to Trench One where prehistoric artefacts were found, the ditch may be prehistoric in date. {1}{2}
