Full Description
Fragments of mid and late 12th century architectural moulding from the church of St Peter Arches were taken to the St Giles Estate in 1936 when the church was moved. The mouldings were drawn in the Vicar's garden in the 1980s and these images may be with the City and County Museum. {1}
A fragment of stone found in a member of the public's back garden in St Giles, Lincoln, was brought to the St Katherine's Archaeology Day in July 2010. It is possibly from the same set of architectural moulding although Professor Stocker commented that it may have formed part of a possibly industrial bowl-like object. {1}{2}
