Full Description
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken by Allen Archaeological Associates in March 2012 at Wellington Street, Lincoln. A small amount of misfired pottery and ceramic tile was found. This suggests that a possible medieval pottery and tile production site exists near the site. See PRN70314 for further evidence for tile kilns in this area. {1}{2}
