Full Description
During a watching brief of topsoil stripping at the Hatton Compressor Station in 2009, four sherds of unstrafied Roman pottery was found. During the evaluation, a ditch containing two fragments of Roman tile, a fragment of Roman brick, a fragment of Roman or post Roman tile and a sherd of modern pottery was found in Trench 1. Within Trench 2, a single imbrex and possibly Roman tile was found. {1}{2}
