Full Description
A single trial trench was excavated in December 2013, to evaluate proposed residential development on land at Rason's Court, Boston. Although the site lies just outside the medieval core of Boston, no remains from this period could be identified, and the earliest features recorded related to 19th century activity. This activity was comprised of a number of pits, post holes, a former brick surface and associated made ground deposits. A small quantity of 19th century pottery, animal bone, glass and clay pipe was recovered. {1}{2}
