Report on the excavation of three trial trenches, dug to inform proposed development on land adjacent to The George Hotel, Main Road, Langworth. Thick layers of late post-medieval made ground overlying natural waterlogged deposits were encountered. The only archaeological features identified comprised an 18th or 19th century ditch and a likely 19th century cobbled surface.
