Report on an assessment of significance, produced after a site visit and historical research into The Old Smithy building at Haugham. The building is a brick-built former blacksmiths workshop, constructed in about 1860, and probably designed by the architect James Fowler. The structure was one of a group of estate buildings built by the Chaplin family as Lords of Haugham Manor.
