Report on magnetometry and ground penetrating radar surveys, conducted to inform the proposed construction of a solar farm on land to the west of the A15, Burton by Lincoln. The magnetometry survey identified a number of anomalies of possible archaeological origin, including a 'D' shaped enclosure and a small circular enclosure of possible prehistoric date, and two sub-rectangular enclosures and a pit of unknown date. Magnetic anomalies indicative of medieval ridge and furrow were also recorded across large parts of the surveyed area. The ground penetrating radar survey did not identify any anomalies of archaeological significance.
