Abstract/Summary
Report for a programme of historic building recording of a farm outbuilding at Manor Farm, Hemingby, conducted prior to its proposed change of use to residential. The building is likely to be later 19th century in origin. A photographic survey was undertaken as part of the recording. The outbuilding contained two original rooms. It originally functioned as a cattle shed, providing accommodation for cows and milking in the northern room with their calves in the southern room. It retained its room arrangement and some original fittings. Photographs show that the building is of red brick in English Garden Wall bond, with a wooden beam and pantile roof. {1}
