An archaeological desk-based assessment to inform a planning application for residential development. The study was based on Historic Environment record data within 500 metres of the site and on a specifically commissioned geophysical survey. Potential for Prehistoric and Roman archaeological remains was established and evaluation trenching was recommended to establish the degree of mitigation needed.
