Description
In the entry for BOURNE ABBEY ROAD TF 0920 (North Side) 10/2 Methodist Church II The discription shall be amended. Methodist Church 1839 Thames Pilkington, Brick stuccoed to front corrugated asbestos roof. 2 Storey Classical front elevation, well proportioned 3 round headed windows with glazing bars, 4 giant Doric pilasters. Plain frieze with moulded and dentilled pediment. The acroteria noted in 1949 have been removed. Plain, 3 window side elevations. Rear stuccoed, with later low brick extension. Interior gallery (dated 1867) with decorated frontal other victorian fittings, complete but unexceptional. 1. ABBEY ROAD 878 (North Side) Methodist Church TF 0920 10/2 2.5.49. II 2. Early C19 plain 2 storey classical front elevation of good proportions. 3 round-headed windows with glazing bars between 4 giant Doric pilasters through both storeys. Plain frieze, moulded and dentil pediment with acroteria. High central double door with 8 panels, moulded stone frame. Listing NGR: TF0972620167
