Description

Magnetometry surveys were conducted to inform the creation of new wetland habitat at Thurlby. Their purpose was to identify areas of archaeological sterility, where borrow pit extraction works could be sited. Magnetic anomalies thought to relate to modern disturbance and field drains were identified, but no significant archaeological remains were encountered. {1}{2}
