Full Description
The remains of a probable wooden-floored structure, thought to relate to 19th century shipbuilding activities in this area, was identified in July 2010, during archaeological monitoring alongside the River Witham. An assemblage of late 19th and early 20th century material was identified (but not retained) from a demolition deposit, directly overlying the remains of the structure. {1}{2}
