Full Description
Field opposite Surfleet church ploughed for the first time 1963. Perhaps a C18th brick making site. Below this Stamford ware sherds - CP, spouted pitcher, few shell filled wares. Thumbed rim of a Thetford ware storage jar. Mica schist whetstone from this site.{1}
