Full Description
Fragments of probably Medieval stonework found in the garden of 26 Witham Place, Boston. These included one carved stone head, two sections of mullion, and a piece from a plinth or pedestal. All were originally recovered from a large amorphous heap and it is considered likely that it came to Boston as ballast in one or more of the numerous ships using the harbour. {1}{2}
