Full Description

A late 17th century house, now derelict, which underwent some alterations in the 19th century. It was constructed of red brick in irregular English bond and has a pantile roof and slightly raised brick coped gables with kneelers and single ridge stack. The interior has an upper room with later 17th century full height softwood panelling and a stair with splat balusters. In the kitchen are moulded principal beams. The roofs are of clasped purlin construction. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with linked working buildings to all four sides of the yard. The farmhouse is attached to a range of working buildings. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within or in association with a village. Large modern sheds are located to the side of the site. {2}
